Far-left âSquadâ Rep. Cori Bush declared that sheâs been radicalized after losing her Missouri Democratic primary race Tuesday and vowed revenge against the pro-Israel group that backed her opponent.
âPulling me away from my position as congresswoman â all you did was take some of the strings off,â Missouriâs 1st District rep told supporters after being defeated by local prosecutor Wesley Bell.
âLetâs be clear. Letâs be clear. Letâs be clear. Letâs be clear. Letâs be clear. Letâs be clear. Letâs be clear,â Bush shouted into the mic. âLetâs talk about what it really is.
âAs much as I love my job, all they did was radicalize me â and so now they need to be afraid.
âLet me say this, AIPAC, Iâm coming to tear your kingdom down,â Bush said, referring to the pro-Israel super PAC that shelled out almost $9 million to unseat the incumbent rep.
The White House on Wednesday condemned the Missouri Democratâs bizarre rhetoric.
âThis kind of rhetoric is inflammatory and divisive and incredibly unhelpful,â White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters when asked about Bushâs remarks.
âWeâre going to continue to condemn any type of political rhetoric in that way, in that vein,â she added, arguing that âwe cannot have this type of inflammatory, divisive language in our political discourse.â
AIPAC congratulated Bell on his victory Tuesday in a statement, which referred to Bush as an âanti-Israel detractor.â
