Police said Jaden Arce, 17, escaped the custody of officers Sunday morning
near Kingshighway and Parkview Place.

ST. LOUIS — Police are looking for a teen fugitive who escaped officers
Sunday morning in the Forest Park area.

The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department said Jaden Arce, 17, escaped
the custody of St. Louis County Deputy Juvenile Officers at around 11 a.m.
near Kingshighway and Parkview Place.

SLMPD officers immediately responded but Arce is believed to have escaped
by running into Forest Park. Officers and a K9 unit searched the area.

Arce was in custody on one count of first-degree robbery. Police said he
is certified as an adult.

Police described Arce as being about 5 foot, 6 inches tall and 120 pounds.
He was last seen with short black hair, a gray crewneck, and bright orange
"jail" pants. He is believed to be barefoot. Police note that the mugshot
below is from March 2024 and that his current hair is shorter.

Officers said if you see Arce or have information on his whereabouts, call
911 and do not approach him.
